Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA)
Federal agency charged with ensuring workplace compliance to health and safety standards. This extensive site has many resources, such as a tool that allows you to enter your company’s SEC code to learn the most frequently cited OSHA standards for your industry class.

National Institute for Occupational Safety
The National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) is the Federal agency responsible for conducting research and making recommendations for the prevention of work-related disease and injury. The Institute is part of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)

Cornell University Ergo
Ergonomics research studies and class work by students and faculty in the Cornell Human Factors and Ergonomics Research Group at Cornell University. The focus is on ways to improve usability, comfort, performance and health through the better ergonomic design of hardware, software, and workplaces.

Carpal Tunnel Syndrome
Includes information on what CTS is and how to prevent it. Site has links to ergonomics products and “at your desk” exercises.
